1928 - 2017 Obituary Condolences
Nina passed at home on September 12, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 11, 1928 in Monessen, PA to Anthony and Ann (Mikolajczyk) Dinio, the oldest of six children. Predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Stanley; her sister, Patricia DeCurtis and brother, John. Survived by her sons, George, Michael, and Theodore; her grandson, Evan; her brother, Joseph, sister, Maryann and brother, Anthony. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A phenomenal daughter and sister, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Nina was a devoted and lifelong Roman Catholic, always faithful to her parochial upbringing at St. Leonard's in Monessen. She was a Eucharistic Minister and a past president with the Society of St. Vincent De Paul. She ran the St. John of God pizza kitchen for a number of years and delivered Meals on Wheels. Nina loved baking and cooking, always trying new recipes and was a wine aficionado. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends received on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and Friday, September 15, 2017, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the SANVITO FUNERAL HOME, 1650 Broadway, Stowe/Kennedy Twp. Prayers in funeral home on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Parish, The Church of St. Mary's, at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Society of St. Vincent De Paul, 1011 Church Ave., McKees Rocks, PA 15136.
