DERRY W. DORMAN Obituary
DORMAN DERRY W.
Age 72, of Export, died peacefully Sunday, May 6, 2018, in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. He was born July 20, 1945, in Portland, Maine, a son of the late Raymond J. and Marion L. (Reed) Dorman. Derry was a self-employed contractor. He was a proud Marine veteran of the Vietnam War. Derry was an avid outdoorsman and loved photographing the beauty the outdoors had to offer. He also enjoyed fly-fishing. Derry will be remembered by all as being a selfless man who put everyone else's needs before his own and was willing to help anyone at any time, day or night. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John McMann; and nephews, Ralph Doran and Sean Doran. Derry will be greatly missed by his beloved family. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Buble) Dorman; devoted son, Derry A. Dorman, of Utah; sister, Karen Doran, of Patton; brother-in-law, Dan Doran; niece, Lisa Szalancy; and many friends. Respecting Derry's wishes, there will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service that will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018, in the Stone Room at Bushy Run Battlefield State Park, 1253 Bushy Run Road, Jeannette, PA 15644, with the Reverend Ron Raptosh of Faith United Methodist Church, Delmont, officiating.
