On Monday, November 23, 2009. Beloved wife of Joseph W.; loving mother of Francis (Joanne), David (Joyce), Mary (Michael) Usnick, Jerome (Wanda), Judith (John) Mankevich, Janice (Michael) Debes, Jacqueline McHenry, Timothy (Vicy) and Catherine; sister of Joseph and Francis Muenz and the late Ruth Wakelin and Louis Muenz; also 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9pm Sat. & Sun. at the THOMAS P. KUNSAK FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3552 California Ave. at Davis Ave. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church on Mon. at 9:30am. June was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America for 60 years and St. Cyril of Alexandria Christian Mothers. Family suggests contributions to St. Jude Hospital, Covenant House, St. Cyril Church or Marian Hall.

I was saddened to hear of Catherine's passing. Even though she was only at St. Barnabas Nursing Home for a short time, I hope her last several months were joyous ones surrounded by her lovely family. We'll miss her spit-fire personality.

Joe and Family,

It was such a pleasure being able to take care of June while she was in Marian Hall. She was the sweetest and funniest lady anybody could ever know. I will always have fond memories of her. I look forward to continue taking great care of Joe, he is also a one of a kind guy. They made a great couple. Its amazing after all the years of being married, they still flirted with eachother. We were so saddened to hear of the passing of June. She lived in our building for four years and it was such a joy seeing the love between her and her husband Joe. The residents here always comment on how much they loved to watch the two of them dance together.
