Age 55 born in Pgh, PA. on Jan. 20, in the year of our dear Lord in 1955 to Marie Harvell & the late James King Griffin, who were the driving force in her life. Dearly loved Mother to Mia, Jamaal & Juan Griffin; Sister to Marilyn & Jon Harvell; Grandmother to Tim Davis, Malik, Tylik & Aaliyah Griffin. Myrna was vivacious & the protector of her family and also a devoted caregiver to the elderly. Her spirit will live on with her family everyday. Friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Tues. Sept. 14 from 10AM to Noon at the Allegheny Center Alliance Church Chapel, 250 East Ohio Street, Pittsburgh, PA. 15212

I just stumbled on this and I am so shocked and sorry. I can remember her as this easy going person who will never let anything bother distract her from what she wants to do. To Mia and family, please accept my deepest sympathy. May God accept her in his kingdom.

To the Griffin and Harvell Family my condolences go out to each and everyone, sorry for your loss. Myrna is in a special place and our Lord and Savior will watch over her. I am devastated at the news of Myrna's passing. She had a great spirit that will continue to shine. I have nothing but fond memories of her helping me to become the mother I am today. Thanks for everything Myrna we love you. Maaly, your godson and I are praying for you and your family's comfort. God will take care of you.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you all at this time of loss. Ran into Myrna on my birthday and we watched the (Veteran's Day) parade together and shared old memories-SCV, Beck's Run church, etc. Keep your eyes on Jesus. He will see you through.
