Obituary Condolences

67, of Upper St. Clair, died Monday, June 13, 2011 in St. Clair Hospital in Mt. Lebanon. He was born January 2, 1944 in Newark, NJ; a son of the late Robert J., Sr., M.D. and Mattie Doyle Jenkins. Dr. Jenkins practiced general medicine in Finleyville for over thirty-five years. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves, and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Upper St. Clair, the Pittsburgh Council of Men, the Frogs Club in Pittsburgh, and the South Hills Branch of the U.S. Power Squadron. Surviving are his wife, Mary Roberts Jenkins; three sons, Robert J. Jenkins, III, of Charleston, SC, Leonard E. Jenkins, M.D., of Pittsburgh, and Conrad E. Jenkins, of Virginia Beach, VA; a daughter, Elizabeth E. Griffin, of Mechanicsville, VA; a brother, Reginald Alexander Jenkins, M.D., of New Jersey; three grandchildren, Keitta, Dana, and Dawnyshia; a great-grandson, Khalil; and five nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Monday at KEGEL FUNERAL HOME, INC., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2011 with Reverend Gary Yarbrough officiating. Entombment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park Mausoleum, Pleasant Hills. Memorial contributions can be made to Monongahela Valley Hospital, 1163 Country Club Road, Monongahela, PA 15063.
