DOLINAR JOHN E.|
On Wednesday, March 21, 2012, John E., 91, a life-long resident of South Park. He was the son of the late John and Julia (Kotnik) Dolinar, who were both immigrant Slovenes. Husband of Julia (Kern) Dolinar; father of daughters, Claire, Teresa, Christina, Ellen and Elizabeth. John attended Connolly Trade School as a young man and was a fine tool and instrument maker in the machine shop at the U. S. Bureau of Mines in Bruceton, PA for his entire career. In addition he co-owned Dolinar Bros. Garage on Cochran Mill Road with his late brothers Frank and Edward for many years. The family will receive friends on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at GRIFFITH MORTUARY, INC., 5636 Brownsville Road, Broughton-Curry-South Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Nativity Church, South Park on Monday at 10 a.m. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment private. If desired, donations may be made, in John's name, to the Nativity Church, 5802 Curry Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
