VINCENT "VINCE"
92, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Hopewell Township, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012, in Shelbourne Personal Care Home, Butler, PA. Born November 1, 1919 in West Aliquippa. He was a son of the late David and Felicia (Priori) D'Eramo. A member of St. Titus Catholic Church, member and past president of Sons of Italy, Sons of Columbus, AFL CIO Local 1211, all of Aliquippa, and a recipient of the San Magno award in 2003. He retired after 46 years of employment from the J & L Steel Corp., Aliquippa, where he was a ladle crane operator. In addition to his parents, Vince was preceded in death by brothers, Anthony, Pat and Ernest D'Eramo; a sister, Mary Gentile and great-great-granddaughter, Grace Evans. Vince is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Bertha D'Eramo; three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Judith D'Eramo, Florida, Anthony and Margaret D'Eramo, Aliquippa, Vincent and Darlene D'Eramo, Wexford; one daughter and son-in-law, Angela and David Shetter, Chambersburg, PA; grandchildren, Christine Evans, David, Martin and Patrick D'Eramo, Andrea Evans, Kimberly, Gregory, Marisa and Rebecca D'Eramo, and Vincent and Mitchell Shetter, and 12 great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Jesse and Joseph Deley, Wexford; in addition to numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-8 in the ANTHONY MASTROFRANCESCO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 21st and McMinn Streets, Aliquippa, 724-375-0496, where prayers will be offered on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 a.m. at St. Titus Catholic Church with Father Joseph Freedy officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Township.
