Obituary Condolences

87, of Baldwin Boro, on Friday, June 1, 2012. Beloved husband of 65 years to Margaret Mary (Bradburn) Kinzler; loving father of Ralph "Jack," Jr. (Celine), Jan, Thomas (Peggy), and Richard (Patty) Kinzler; adoring grandfather of Wendy (Ken) Stephens, Christopher, Tyler, Daniel, Michael, and Kyra Kinzler; great-grandfather of Sean, Aidan, Devin, and Brendan Stephens. Preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Teresa Kinzler; and his brother, Albert Kinzler. Watched over by his pet dog, Cheyenne Elizabeth. Mr. Kinzler was a WWII Army Air Corps. veteran, earning three bronze battle stars, among many others. He had a long career in the US Post Office in Pittsburgh, serving more than 30 years as postmaster at the Pleasant Hills, Millvale, and Uptown Post Offices. He retired in 1979 and enjoyed a long retirement with his family and friends. Friends received at the CIESLAK & TATKO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2935 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, 412-881-2300, on Sat. 2-4 and 6-8 and Sun. 12-4 p.m. Funeral Prayer Mon. at 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Albert the Great Church at 12:30 p.m. Interment to follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with Military Honors.
