Obituary Condolences

23, of Lower Burrell, died Sunday, July 15, 2012 of injuries received in an auto accident on July 1, 2012 in Tennessee while traveling to do missionary work. She was born in New Kensington on December 12, 1988 to Darryl H. and Kim Todt Jedlowski and had been a life resident of the community. Erin was Director of Missions and Youth for the First United Methodist Church in Waynesburg, PA. A graduate of Burrell High School in 2007 she was a member of Karen's Blue Angels, a baton twirling organization and along with her teammates won a National Championship in the sport. She was also awarded an individual Champion. She was a majorette, a member of the marching band, track team and school newspaper. She attended the University of Pittsburgh graduating in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing. While in college she worked at Jumonville, near Uniontown, a church group, in a variety of jobs. She was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church in Lower Burrell where she was in the Black Light Ministry and a member of the Bethel Youth Group. She enjoyed baton twirling and missionary work. Survivors include: her parents, Darryl and Kim Todt Jedlowski; sister, Kristin (Nathan) O'Connor of Monroeville; nephew, Brayden O'Connor; grandmother Mary Mazza Jedlowski of New Kensington; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Henry Jedlowski and grandmother Patricia Smith-Todt. Friends will be received Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the RUSIEWICZ FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell 15068. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in Bethel U. Methodist Church 150 Alder Street, Lower Burrell by the Rev. Paul Taylor and the Rev. Gary Grau. (Everyone to meet at church). Private burial will be in Puckety Church Cemetery, Lower Burrell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Scholarship for Mission Trips c/o Waynesburg U. Methodist Church, 112 North Richill St., Waynesburg 15370, or Bethel Campership c/o Bethel U. Methodist Church, 150 Alder Street, Lower Burrell, PA 15068.
