Obituary Condolences

Age 83, passed away on September 3, 2012, after he fought a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease as well as overcoming many other physical disabilities in his lifetime. Leaves behind his loving wife, Janice Lea (Sheldon) Bonasorte of 39 years; son of the late Corradino and Harriet (Durkin) Bonasorte; father of Mark, Kimberly (David), the late Gary Bonasorte; beloved grandfather of Cara (Randy), Bethany (Kevin), Garett, and Lorin; proud great-grandfather of Rose, Devin, Chase, and Jude; also leaves behind close and dear friend, Lori Ballog, who is also the mother of his youngest granddaughter; brother of Annabelle Martin of Palm Harbor, FL. Preceded in death by his brothers, James McQuarters, Louis, Joseph, Charles Bonasorte; and his sisters, Catherine Dattilo, Irene Cherriano, Henrietta Adams, Margaret Bonasorte, and Rose Frushell; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was an avid golfer and golf repairman. He was the baker extraordinaire of "Uncle Frannys Pizzelles". Our thanks to the management and staff of Manor Care Bethel Park, and Heartland Hospice for their tender love and care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Parkinson's Foundation, 3471 Fifth Avenue, Suite 811, Kaufmann Building, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. No visitation will be held. A memorial service will be held at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, on Saturday, September 8, at 10:30 a.m.
