Obituary Condolences

Born March 25, 1921 in Friendship, PA, son of the late Standard Time Hiller, Sr. and Mary Shaup Hiller. Stan was the beloved husband, best friend, and soulmate of the late Frances Doyle Hiller; beloved cousin of Harriet W. Kistler and Roy E. Hiller, Jr.; devoted father of Irma H. DeAngelo (Jerry), Suzanne H. Calvin (James), James Henry Hiller (Linda) and Nancy H. Johnston (Wayne); adoring Pap-Pap of James C. Calvin, Jr., Suzanne C. Hickey, David J. Hiller and Christopher D. Johnston; proud great-grandfather of Sophia, Anna, Mackenzie, Avery, and Charlie. Stan enlisted into the U.S. Marine Corps in June 1942 (1st Marine Division). He participated in numerous island landings during the war in the Pacific and was wounded in action on Peleliu- for which he received the Purple Heart. He was a member of Bethel Park Masonic Lodge #761 F & AM and Shriners Gourgas Lodge of Perfection. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 - 11 a.m. in the DAVID J. HENNEY FUNERAL HOME, 6364 Library Road (RT88), Library, where a service will be at 11 a.m. Interment private at a later date. Family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Washington County Humane Society.
