Obituary Condolences

Of Forest Hills, age 85, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Beloved husband of Doris (Gipe) Hoffman for 59 years; loving father of Kathie (Jim) Jendeski, Kristie (Craig) Beech, Kerrie (Michael) Mlinac, Robert and Glenn Hoffman; dear grandfather of Steven, Jason, Vince, Bradley, Kenny; and his very special great-granddaughter, Callie; brother of Fern Roxby, Glenn (Ramona) Hoffman, Owen (Joann) Hoffman; preceded in death by sister, Opal Varner; and brother, William Hoffman. Bob is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was a World War II Air Force Veteran and a member for 60 years of the IBEW local #126. Bob also belonged to the Masonic lodge #635 and was a member of the Shriners of Pittsburgh and Dunlo American Legion. Friends welcome Friday 2-8 p.m. in the PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME, Turtle Creek/Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave. at James St., Turtle Creek 412-823-9350. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday 10-11 a.m. at the Hope Lutheran Church in Forest Hills, where a Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to: Shriners Hospitals for Children, Office of Development 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607. Interment with Military Honors will be held in Johnstown at a later date.
