Obituary Condolences

Age 83, of Penn Hills, on Wednesday, October 10, 2012. "Boots" (Gladys May) Rodella was born on November 8, 1928 to the late Edwin and Ada (Morrow) Prosser. She married James Rodella on October 23, 1948. She is survived by her husband of 63 years and her three children, Judi (George) Cujas of Saegertown, Joyce of Penn Hills, and Jim (Maureen) of Collier Township; she is also survived by four grandchildren, Carrie Cujas (David) Schellenberger of Winter Springs, FL, Jason (Melissa) Cujas of Moon Township, Braden and Delaney Rodella of Collier Township; she is also survived by great-grandchildren, Ethan Schellenberger of Winter Springs, FL, Dylan Cujas of Moon and a third great-grandson expected in early December; she is further survived by her sister, Gloria June (John) Perry of Churchill; and her brother, Edwin (Cheryl) of Cranberry Township. "Boots" grew up in Wilkinsburg and graduated from Wilkinsburg High School in 1946. After marrying Jim, Gladys moved to Penn Hills and became a homemaker. She loved to bake and sew and until quite recently, made most of her own clothing. "Boots" was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Penn Hills and was also an avid sports fan. The family is especially grateful to the Interim Hospice Professionals, led by Denise Richardson during the last several months. Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE / PLUM CHAPEL), corner of (445) Beatty Rd. and 48 North, Monroeville, (412-856-4747). Funeral Service will be Monday 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Penn Hills. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Interment at Church Hill Cemetery.
