Age 89, of Midway, formerly of Bainbridge Island, WA and Coraopolis, PA on Friday afternoon, Nov. 2, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Burns; beloved mother of David (Darlene) Cox, Thomas (Gayle) Burns, Jennie Greiter and Robert (Terry) Burns; cherished grandmother of Jim (Nicole) Greiter, Jr., David (Cathy) Cox, Jr., Melissa (John) Carbaugh, Amy (Jason) McFall, Joshua (Gisselle) Burns and Tiffany Burns; adored great-grandmother of Justin, Dalton, Derian, Sophia, Chantelle, Shai-Linn, Mailee and Lianna; sister of Regis McElhaney. Preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family to receive friends at the WHARTON-HERRICK FUNERAL HOME, Edward M. Fayette Twp., Imperial, PA 724-695-7332, on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 between 2-9 p.m. where a funeral service will take place Wednesday at 2 p.m. followed by interment, Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.
