Age 70, of White Oak, PA died of complications from pneumonia and Parkinson's disease on November 25, 2012. He was preceded In death by his parents Helen and Hy Smukler. He is survived by a son, Joseph Sanders of Brooklyn, New York; and a sister, Miriam (Michael) Tenebaum of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. Bert worked as a Pharmacist after graduating from the University of Florida. He lived at Riverview Towers in Squirrel Hill, and later resided at Woodhaven Care Facility in Monroeville, PA. There will be a Memorial Service at a later date. Donations may be sent in his name to Forbes Hospice, 4800 Friendship Ave., Pittsburgh, PA or the Parkinson's Foundation.
