Age 56, of Mount Lebanon, on Thursday, November 29, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Devoted daughter of the late Donald J. and Kay (Romansky) Eichinger; cherished sister of Barbara A. Eichinger; also survived by several cousins. Mary was one of the first female police officers on the Mt. Lebanon Police Department serving from 1981 until 2003. After retiring from the department she became a bank fraud investigator for Dollar and Citizens Banks, while serving as Vice-President of the Pittsburgh Metro Chapter of I.A.F.C.I. Mary was also an animal welfare advocate. Friends will be welcomed at LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, Monday 4 until 7 p.m. with a Police Association Tribute at 7 o'clock. Services will be held in the Mausoleum Chapel of Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Tuesday morning at 10:30. If desired, memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Anne Church or Animal Friends.
