Obituary Condolences

95, formerly of Baldwin Borough, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at South Fayette Nursing Center, Markleysburg, PA. He was born October 24, 1917 in Pittsburgh. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 67 years, Hannelore "Ann" Hartmann McIntosh; his parents, Catherine Flanagan McIntosh (1942) and Raymond Arthur McIntosh (1975); brother, Harry Raymond McIntosh (1993); and son, David Kenneth McIntosh (of Parker, Colorado, age 47). Don is survived by his son, Raymond Paul McIntosh (Ree) of Birmingham, AL; daughter, Donna A. Sprandle of Addison, PA; and daughter-in-law, Caroline McIntosh of Half Moon Bay, CA; Don was a grandfather of ten and great-grandfather of seven; brother-in-law of Irene Hartmann Macon (deceased 1/15/13) and Barclay T. Macon (deceased 5/25/12) of Marietta, GA; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. After serving four years in the U.S. Army during World War II, Don returned to the South Hills (Carrick/Mt. Oliver) in 1945 to spend 36 years in the insurance field, having worked for General Adjustment Bureau and Marsh & McLennan Insurance Brokerage. Don was a bridge enthusiast all his life and an avid golfer for 78 years, giving up the sport of golfing at age 89. If desired, family requests contributions to a .
