Obituary Condolences

Age 62, of Cranberry Township, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2013 while in the comfort of his home. Born August 10, 1950 in Erie, PA he was the son of the late Leonard and Stella (Murawski) Pry. Paul proudly attended St. Patrick's School in Erie. He had the privilege of coaching basketball years later on the same court in which he played. He was an All-State MVP basketball player at Erie Cathedral Prep. He went onto excel at the University of Louisville where he and his team played in the NIT from 1970-1971 and went onto the Final Four in 1972. He owned and operated CAM Trucking Company in Brookville. For the last 19 years, he was employed with Maersk Domestic. Paul loved golf, basketball, the beach, summertime parties and attending the Kentucky Derby. But above all, his greatest love was his family and friends. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his adoring wife of 34 years, Doris (Baxter) Pry whom he married on June 17, 1978; his three loving children, Lindsay Pry of Ross Township, Kelly Pry of West View and Paul J. Pry of Cranberry Township; his brother, Michael Pry of Las Vegas, NV; his sister, Judy Pry-Walker of Erie, PA; his nephew; and godson, Christopher Pry of Charlotte, NC; his best friend, Gary Duty of Cranberry Township and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his three brothers-in-law, Lee Katchen, Kevin Baxter and Buddy Baxter. Paul's family will welcome friends on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 130 Wisconsin Avenue, Cranberry Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 201 Church Road, Wexford, PA 15090 with Fr. Peter Murphy, celebrant.
