Obituary Condolences

Age 80, of White Oak, died on Sun., Jan. 27, 2013, at UPMC McKeesport. She was born on Oct. 31, 1932 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late William T. and Maude E. Johnston Beech. Barbara was a 1950 graduate of McKeesport High School and graduated from Robert Morris Business School. She also trained at the American Bankers Trust Training School at Bucknell University. Barbara was a member of Faith Evangelical Church in White Oak and its WELCA and formerly served the church in many capacities, Meals on Wheels volunteer, former board member of McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery, a former member of McKeesport Hospital Junior Committee and an enthusiastic supporter of The McKeesport Symphony. Barbara was a retired Trust Administrator and Assistant Vice President of the Trust Dept. of National City Bank. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Rocky (Carol Douglas) Beech of North Huntingdon, Barbara Jo Cush of Wilmerding, Glenn J. (Marion) Beech of White Oak, William E. (Pam) Beech of Arizona, Raymond G. Beech of Florida, Leah Anne Beech of New Freeport; great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews. Her life in recent years was enriched by the Lobby Ladies of White Oak Village (aka Barb's Babes). Barbara was preceded in death by her siblings, Kathryn and Charles Cush, William and Betty Beech, Glenn and Lya Beech and Frank and Ruth Beech. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the JENNIFER S. JORDAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., White Oak. Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Brian Evans officiating. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Barbara's family has requested in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Faith Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 1656 Lincoln Way White Oak, PA 15131.
