85, Glassport, passed away peacefully Monday, February 4, 2013 at Family Hospice of Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh, with her loving son by her side. She was born in Bugnara, Italy and came to America at the age of 3. She was the daughter of the cherished, late Dominic Eligio and Adele Maria (Delfiugo) Nolfi and the wife of the late Anthony S. Dacquisto. She is preceded in death by beloved brothers, Del P. Nolfi of Glassport and Dr. E. James Nolfi of White Oak and sister-in-law, Mickey Nolfi. She is survived by treasured sisters, Mary (Art) Cipriani of Glassport and Helen (Richard) Sovich of Glassport and sister-in-law, Patricia Nolfi of White Oak. She was the proud mother of her devoted son, Nicholas C. Dacquisto with whom she resided; caring aunt to 15 nephews and nieces, their spouses and children, who loved her dearly, as well as dear cousins in Aliquippa and Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, and San Jose and San Diego, California. She was a 1945 graduate of Glassport High School, dedicated employee of the Federal Government for over 45 years and was awarded Presidential honors in Washington, D.C. She was adored by co-workers, friends, and acquaintances. She had a strong sense of tradition, loved dance, music, sewing, gardening, and beautiful flowers. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Family and friends will be welcomed Sunday 7-9 p.m. and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at WOJCIECHOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, Glassport. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Queen Of The Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Glassport, by Father Casimir Kedzierski. Interment will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles Twp.
