HUMPHREYS CLAYTON
On Saturday, March 9, 2013, after a long term illness, Clayton Humphreys. Beloved husband for 65 years of Phyllis Humphreys; father of Carol J. (Steve) Linn of Canton, OH, and the late James (Jean of Maryland) Humphreys III, and David Steven Humphreys; six grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; brother-in-law of Clara Humphreys of Columbus, OH; uncle of June (Richard) Hassinger of Pittsburgh and several other nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Clayton was a member of the Greenstone United Methodist Church and the Wood Carvers Club - Chisels and Chips, was a WWII veteran of the US Navy, a Syria Shriner, member of the Masonic Blue Lodge and Scottish Rite. He worked for Dravo for 42 years and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #66 for over 50 years. Friends received Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 460 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue, where a Funeral Service will be held following visitation at 1 p.m. Special thanks to Good Samaritan Hospice and caregivers Mary Jane and Wanda. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greenstone U.M. Church or to Good Samaritan Hospice.
