EUGENE "GENE" ALBERT
80 years old of South Fayette Township, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, March 13, 2013, in his home. He was born March 9, 1933 in his family home in Cuddy, Pennsylvania, where he lived his entire life, son of the late Eugene and Constance Broutin Danch. He proudly served two years in the United States Army in the 1950s. For over 40 years, Gene worked as a cement mixer driver for Silhol Builders Supply in Bridgeville, retiring in 2005. He served as a union steward for and was a member of the Teamsters Local 249. Gene was a talented carpenter who built his own home in the 1950s after returning from the military. He enjoyed playing at the casino, watching wrestling and movies and caring for his dog, Boots. Surviving are his fiancée, June Wauthier Chase of Gladden; two daughters, Kathleen Weiss and Linda Jones, both of Florida; niece and nephew, Conni A. (Youngo) Canella and Walter (Geraldine) Lesneski of Cuddy; two grandchildren, Simone Weiss and Tara Bell; great-niece, Angela Martel; a great-great-nephew, Cody Joseph Trank; and two great- grandchildren. His extended family through his fiancée includes June's daughters, Elizabeth (Shin) Kang and child, Alexander Kang, of Virgina and Jane Chase Davis of Washington and children, Chevelle Chase and Ammie Davis. He was preceded in death by both parents; daughter, Jeanne Danch Bell in 2005; a sister, Bertha Danch Youngo; and a brother, Eugene (Baby Boy) Danch. Friends will be received Tuesday, March 19, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the COLEMAN-TAYLOR FUNERAL SERVICES, 3378 Millers Run Road (Rt.50) Cecil, where prayers of transfer will be said, Wednesday, March 20 at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Christian Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Cecil, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Stan Gregorek, officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be made to the St. Mary Church, 10 St. Mary Lane, Cecil, PA 15321.Visit:
