HAJEK WILLIAM R.
Age 81, of Monroeville, on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Beloved husband of Roseanne; loving father of Diane Mason, Gary Hajek, Sandy Steinmiller (Dan) and Paula Rumon (Dan); loving grandfather of Tracy, Curtis Will, Madison and Danny; brother of Louise Cramer and the late Albert Hajek, John Hajek, Dorothy Opsitnick, and Agnes Lindsay. He was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews and a friend to his sisters and brothers in-law. Bill was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. He retired from Peoples Natural Gas Co. Bill was a member of Masonic Lodge –Infinity No. 546, and the National Camping Travelers. He was an honorary member of the Suzanne Wesley Bible Study. He also enjoyed golf, camping and ball room dancing and was an avid reader of history books. There will be no visitation at Bill's request. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Holiday Park United Methodist Church, with Rev. Joel Garrett and Rev. Jack Piper, officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Holiday Park United Methodist Church, 81 Sandune Drive, Pittsburgh, PA. 15239, greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the GENE H. CORL INC.
