Obituary Condolences

Age 93, of Coraopolis, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospice House. He was born in Coraopolis to the late Gaetano and Maria (Bosetti) Poletti. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Poletti; his siblings: Silvio Poletti, Nellie Poletti and Josephine (Rebuelta) Skvarj. He is survived by his loving daughter Carol Poletti of Santa Monica, CA; sister-in-law Irene Poletti of Moon Township; brother-in-law John Skvarj of Imperial; also many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great –nephews. Guido was a proud member of Sheet Metal Workers Local #12 and a loyal member of VFW Post 402. He served in the U.S. Army air Force during WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and horseshoe pitching. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at COPELAND'S Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. where Blessing Service will be held on Saturday 11 a.m. with Father Jordan officiating. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery with Military Honors.
