ROXEY DeMARCO Obituary
ROXEY E.
Age 96, of McKees Rocks, peacefully on May 25, 2013. Beloved companion of Kathy Richardson; he was the last of eight children; also survived by many friends. Roxey was a proud WWII Army Paratrooper and also worked for Equitable Gas for 48 years. Family and friends welcome Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the ANTHONY M. MUSMANNO FUNERAL HOME INC., 700 7th St. McKees Rocks, 412-331-0900. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, 9:30 a.m. in St. John of God Parish the Church at St. Marys. Interment 12:30 p.m. at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with Miliary Honors. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be donated in Roxey's name to the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment Assn., Inc., Strike-Hold-Devil's In Baggy Pants, 22 Club Hill Drive., Garner NC 27529.

Dear Roxy, you came up on my FB page 12 years after you left this world. So I want to say again how much you are missed, they dont make men like you anymore. I feel so blessed to have known you. Thank you for the memories my friend.

It's been over 10 years but I still think of you everytime I see the lot next to me, the house is gone but you and Nancy left me with many memories. Rest in Peace my sweet neighbor

Hi Kathy
My mom and I were very sorry to hear of Roxey's passing. We really enjoyed visiting him after my dad passed away and listening to his stories. He was such a good friend to my dad for many, many years both in the 82nd and when my dad was sick. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Was so very sad to hear of Roxy's passing. He was a wonderful man. I will aways remember you my dear neighbor and my friend. Kathy you were so loving and caring to him I know you were his world, you made his life safe and warm, now he is in the arms of our Lord and Father. God Bless you both.
