Obituary Condolences

Passed away peacefully, on August 3, 2013. Beloved husband for 65 years of Theresa (Stezoski) Corso; loving father of Alan (Cindy) Corso, Diane (Bill) Shoup, Carol (Kim Winnard) Corso, Barbara (Jerome) Mayfield; fun-loving grandpap of Emily Shoup, Sarah (Cole) Moody, Alexander and Amelia Winnard, and Kendall Mayfield; proud great-grandfather of Will Moody; and devoted brother of Marie (Corso) Milligan. Tom was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa (Abramonte) Corso and his father, Anthony Corso. Tom was a World War II veteran, a proud member of the VFW Post 1810 and the American Legion Post 712. He was a former resident of Homestead and West Mifflin and an active parishioner of St. Thomas A' Becket Church in Jefferson Hills. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 7, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 8, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas A' Becket Church in Jefferson Hills. Prayers and military honors will follow at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Tom's name to the St. Thomas A' Becket Building Fund, 139 Gill Hall Road, Jefferson Hills, PA. 15025. Online condolences may be left at:
