LINDA L. (BOGESDORFER)
Age 65, of Jefferson Hills, formerly of Whitaker, passed away on September 11, 2013. Beloved wife of Danny "Chief" Taiedi; devoted mother of Carrie Howard; grandmother of Ashley (Robert) Nebel; sister of Robert "Bo" (Wagner) Bogesdorfer and Henry G. Bogesdorfer; stepmother of Kimberly (John) Francis; step-grandmother of Helen, Roger and Danny Francis; aunt of Sean and Jesse Bogesdorfer; daughter of the late Lucille and Henry Bogesdorfer. Chief and Linda were the owners of the famous Some Place Else Bar in Baldwin for 17 years, the Jefferson Hills Motel and the Saddlebrook Stables of South Park. Visitation will be on Saturday and Sunday from 1-8 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, 5115 Centre Ave., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15232. Danny and Family,

I am so sorry for your loss Linda was always good to my family and helping my mom when I was a little girl. Someplace Else was literally a part of my childhood. Her presence will live on in memories forever.

I remember the last time I saw Linda at our last high school reunion in 2010, we spent a lot of time chatting and catching up, what a beautiful woman, her love of life was amazing! My condolences to her family.

Danny, Carrie, And Kim and all of the family. I remember all the great times we had at Somplace Else. Actually everyone had a great time there. Everyone has their Linda story, as well as a Danny story. Linda and the Chief were the best. Always in my heart and thoughts even years after I worked for them (some of the best years of my life). I will truly miss her smile and wide eyes. She was always there for me as a confidant, a friend and a drink.
Their club was the center of Rock n Roll in the South Hills as well as the Pittsburgh area. It is a Legend. She is a legend. She will be missed by many and all of the people she touched.
