Obituary Condolences

Of Pittsburgh, on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Helen Joan (Vorbach) Demma; brother of Leo (the late Rose) Demma and Antoinette (the late Joseph) Bruno. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Josephine Gennuso, Anna DeCarolis, August Demma, Mary Faulisi, Rose (Quido "Gus") Agostinelli, Virginia "Jeannie" Vito; and survived by many loving nieces and nephews that will mourn his passing. Mr. Demma was a member of the Church of the Ascension, and a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps during the Korean conflict. Mr. Demma was an instructor for the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and La Roche College where he taught commercial art, graphic design, interior design, life class, architecture, mechanical drawing, sculpture, and industrial design. He was the former Curator at the William Penn Museum in Harrisburg, PA and former Administrator of the Daniel Boone Homestead in Birdsboro, PA, and later named chief designer of all Historic Sites in Pennsylvania.
