WILLIAM J. "BILL"
82, passed away peacefully at Hope Hospice in Ft. Myers, FL, on September 12, 2013, with his wife by his side. Bill was born in Pittsburgh, PA and lived there until moving to Southwest Florida over 20 years ago. He was a graduate of Brentwood High School and he enlisted and served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a contractor by trade and enjoyed doing small remodeling jobs for friends and family after selling his contracting business and retiring. He was an avid golfer, tinkerer, and pinochle player and volunteered his time and talents at the Blessed Pope John Thrift Store. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Janice; devoted daughters, Linda (Al) Cardamone, Shari (Craig) Robinson and Pamela (Barry) DeLuca; loving grandchildren, Marisa, Adam, Ryan and Alaina; and his dear sister, Eileen Fasola. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 10 a.m. in St. Germaine Church, 7003 Baptist Road, Bethel Park, PA 15102. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the above named church.
