Formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, died Sunday, November 10, 2013, at the age of 81 years, from a massive stroke, in her apartment at the Henry Ford Village, Dearborn, MI. She was born August 27, 1932, in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Balestrieri) Galioto, Pittsburgh, PA; preceded by her loving husband, Carmen Gemus. She was a loving sister to her surviving siblings, Tom (Jean) Galioto, FL, Frank (MaryJo) Galioto, PA, Angelo Galioto, PA, Anna Renda, FL, and Catherine (Sal) Marino, KY; the loving stepmother of Sam (Sharon) Gemus, Carmen (Pam) Gemus and Jackie (Joe) Parlanti; also survived by many loving nephews, nieces and four grandchildren; special friend to Ron Roomain, and Art and Faye DiMarco. Visitation Services will be Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 4-9 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of the HOWE - PETERSON FUNERAL HOME, 22546 Michigan Ave. Mass led by Father Child at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m., with Prayers at 10:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Entombment will take place at St. Hedwig Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Rose may be made to the Lymphoma Foundation, Arbor Hospice or the American Stroke Foundation.
