(Dickinson) and John C. Lowe; sister of the late James R. (Jeanne), John W. and Elizabeth J. Lowe; sister-in-law of Anne and Patricia (William deceased) Ferguson; dear lifelong friend of Barbara Hasley, meeting at age five, Lois often said Barbara was like a sister to her; also survived by nieces and nephews. Lois was born at Magee Hospital in Pgh., PA on September 3, 1926. Richard and Lois married on September 9, 1950. They had their only child, James, in November 1956. Lois graduated from Mount Lebanon High School in June 1944. She was also a lifelong member of the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church. Lois enjoyed volunteering at local churches and senior centers. As a secretary, Lois worked many years for insurance agent Andrew F. Goyette, later working for Gimbels security and Asbury Heights. Beloved wife, mother, sister, and aunt, she selflessly dedicated her entire life to caring for her family. Always loving, kind and patient with everyone she knew. Lois spent nearly 13 years caring for her husband after he developed Alzheimer's. Her husband and son are eternally grateful. As she struggled through cancer for two years, she said of the Lord, "I will love Him no matter what." One of the last things she said was. "I Love My Baby!" I will love you forever mom. Thanks to the Mercy and Grace provided by the Good Lord above, and His Son Jesus Christ, I look forward to rejoining you and dad in the land of Glory. Family plans no viewing. Service to be held at a later date. Interment private. Arrangements by LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL.
