ARNOLD KATZ Obituary
83, passed away at his home Tuesday, February 18, 2014. He was born July 12, 1930, in Binghamton, NY. He is survived by his loving wife, Rosalyn Cohn Katz; brother, Harvey Katz; daughter, Leslie; and granddaughter, Halina; nephews, nieces and cousins. Arnie joined the Economics Department at the University of Pittsburgh in 1967 and taught there until his retirement in 1998. A campus memorial service will be held at a later time. Roz - Word of Arnie's death has just reached us. We are saddened profoundly. Arnie was a gem among men, a true Renaissance Man and a real mensch. Our thoughts are with you and your family.
