ROBERT ALBERT "BOB"
Age 83, of Dormont, peacefully passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014. Beloved husband of Mary Lloyd for 19 years; loving stepfather of Dino Pandolfo, Luci (Jeff) Orr, and Anna (Joe) Buzzelli; grandfather of Nando, Katherine, Garrett, Nathan, Penelope, Rosie, and Robert; he is also survived by many extended family members and friends. Bob had a lifelong love and pride of history and military collectables, especially of the Civil War. Bob was a Retired Sgt. from the U.S. Army. He was a Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus #491, Past Navigator Cardinal Wright Assembly, 4th Degree Knights, longtime 32nd degree Mason at the Syria Mosque, Treasurer of the St. Vincent de Paul Society in St. Pius X in Brookline, and life member of the Elks Club on the North Side. Bob was also a member of the Sears Retiree Club, Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War, and the Dormont Historical Society. He was also a board member of the Keystone Oaks School District for 16 years, and the Dormont - Mt. Lebanon - Castle Shannon Rotary Club. Bob retired after 45 years from Sears on the North Side. Bob will be remembered by his sense of humor and most of all, his love for his family. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Friends and family are welcome at 2630 W. Liberty Ave., Dormont, 412-531-4000, on Thursday, March 13, 2014, 6-8 p.m. and Friday, March 14, 2014, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 15, 2014, 10 a.m., in St. Pius X Church, Brookline. Interment Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dormont Historical Society, 1444 Hillsdale Ave., Lower Level, Pittsburgh, PA 15216.
