FRANCES SUTTER Obituary
Passed peacefully on June 1, 2014, at the age of 101. She was of Marshall Twp. Mother of Sue (Joe) Mascia and Anne (John) Smalstig. Preceded in death by her husband, Walter R. Sutter. The church and Frances's family were the center of her active life. She founded the Pittsburgh North People for Peace and was a cofounding family of Ascension Lutheran Church. The family wishes to thank the staff at Grace Manor for their caring and loving attention to Frances during her final weeks. A Memorial Service for Mrs. Sutter will be held on June 28, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. in Dutilh Methodist Church, 1270 Dutilh Rd., Cranberry Twp., PA 16066. The family suggests memorial donations to Wounded Warrior Project or a charity of your choice in her memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to SPERLING FUNERAL HOME, McCandless Twp. Memories can be left at:

I have fond memories of the sweet Mrs Sutter in the years we worked together at Lawnvue Acres Personal Care Home. My deepest condolences to the family.
