EVELYN KNISS Obituary
Age 63, of Moon Township, went to be with the Lord, peacefully on October 18, 2014, surrounded by her family at her side. Evelyn was the daughter of the late John, Sr. and Blanche (Olszewski) Brandebura; wife of Thomas C. Kniss; and loving and caring mother of Kenneth T. Kniss and his fiancée, Anna Barefoot; sister to Dr. John Brandebura (Margaret) and their children, William, Stephen and Matthew Brandebura, and Laura Strum (Stephen) and their son, Andy, who she loved dearly; Evelyn is also survived by many loving family members and friends, including her brother-in-law, Timothy Kniss (Debbie) and their sons, Timothy Allen and Tyler. Evelyn touched each person she met with her affectionate smile and personality. There will be no public visitation. The HUNTSMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MOON TWP. is in charge of arrangements. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at 12:30 p.m. in Zion's Lutheran Church, 140 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Greensburg, PA 15601. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) or The UPMC Cancer Center (www.upmccancercenter.com)

Your loss is heaven gain. Evelyn was always so pleasant and I am so thankful that I had a chance to have met a real good person. She will be missed. God Bless! Love you both.

Tom, Kenny and family,

My deepest condolences to Tom, Kenny and the whole family. I have very fond memories of Eleanor from all the time we spent together on bleachers watching the boy's baseball games. She was always a joy to be around. God bless all of you.
