Deepest compassion to all the family for their loss. Ken was a full of life friend very giving and kind, always let me know how much he loved me and my family. He was very dear & tenderhearted. He Touched many lives with goodness. I praise God for the life that was in him. And the breath that he breathed while here on the earth! Comfort and healing and peace to all who mourn the loss of a loved one and friend. God's mercy to you all??

My condolences to the Ashenfelter family. Ken hired me into his department at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and I will never forget him and will always be eternally grateful, too. He had an enormous heart and a very cool sense of humor. May he rest in peace...

I love you and miss you ken more than you will ever know. I will always be your girlfriend. Kenny always told me that we would get married when we were in our 80's. That always put a smile on my face and we would laugh. Love you. Stacey
