L. VAN V., Jr.
June 13, 1943 - April 19, 2015
Van DauIer, Chairman and former President of Neville Chemical Company, died of pancreatic cancer on April 19, 2015. He was actively involved with the W.PA School for Blind Children (15 years as President), Pittsburgh Symphony (Executive Committee), and UPMC/ Shadyside. His philanthropic endeavors with these and other organizations made a significant impact on the Pittsburgh community. Van is survived by his wife of 32 years, Randi; a son and daughter-in-law, Cameron and Holly; and grandchildren, Hodge, Addison and Coe. Friends and colleagues are welcome to join the family to celebrate the life of Van Dauler on Monday, June 1, 2015, at 7 p.m. at Pittsburgh Public Theater. Memorial gifts may be made to the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, 5150 Centre Avenue, Suite 1B, Pittsburgh, PA 15232, and noted for Dr. Herbert Zeh's Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund.

To the Dauler family with my deepest condolence towards Lee's passing. I've known Lee here at Neville Chemical Co. for over 36 years and every time we've ever met it was always with opened and honest smiles. Us employees have always enjoyed his open door policy allowing the comfort in expressing ourselves in such an open and communicative atmosphere, oh what a pleasure it was. We will miss him dearly, Charles W. Demel.
