OTTO MAGEL Obituary
A Pittsburgh native and resident of Sarasota, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2015. Born on June 13, 1925, to father, Otto Magel and mother, Margaret Magel (Griffin), Otto was a man dedicated to his family and friends. Having proudly fought in WWII, Otto went on to attend Yale University and enjoyed a fulfilling career as an executive in the world of business. Above all, he was a man characterized by his loyalty to those he loved and the sense of honor with which he lived every single day. He leaves behind three adoring children, Patti, Bill, and Carol; along with five grandchildren; several cousins; and many friends. Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Juan Diego Parish, St. Mary Church, corner of Penn and Garnier Streets, Sharpsburg. (Everyone Please Meet at Church.) Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Sharpsburg. Condolences may be given at:
