CHARLES KNICKERBOCKER Obituary
Age 70, on Monday, June 1, 2015, of West Mifflin. Son of the late Hubert S. and Geraldine E. (Farrar) Knickerbocker; beloved husband of Kathie (Hunter) Knickerbocker; father of Susan Knickerbocker, Thomas Knickerbocker, David (Vanda) Knickerbocker, Deborah (James) Kisser, and Karen (Ben) Pennington; grandfather of 12; also survived by four sisters; five brothers; and many nieces and nephews. Charles retired as the Divisional Musical Director of the Western PA Salvation Army. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, June 4, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army, 1060 McNeilly Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15226. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Charles H. Knickerbocker Memorial Fund, C/O Salvation Army, 1060 McNeilly Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15226. Arrangements entrusted to READSHAW FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick. Send condolences to

We were blessed to have this wonderful young man at The Elyria Salvation Army back in the '60s. He was attending Baldwin Wallace College at the time. Chuck was our Band Leader. I am so sorry for your loss. I love the Knickerbocker family! God bless you all. Chuck will be leading the choir when we get there! ❤ Love, John and Diane Piatt
