CONRAD SHARPS Obituary
Age 87, of Pittsburgh, passed away on November 21, 2016. He was born in Dormont, Pennsylvania on October 7, 1929, to the late Conrad and Daisy Sharps. Howard is survived by his beloved wife, Lois Ellen (Chess) Sharps. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Dorothy (Michael) Burns and Dr. Chester (Vicki) Sharps; grandchildren, Carrie Smith, Elizabeth Galvanek, Daniel (Cassie) Sharps, Joanna (Fletcher) Metz, Matthew Sharps, and Nelson Sharps; and five great-grandchildren. Howard had retired as an engineer from J & L and LTV Steel. He was active in church works and served as an officer in several Churches of Christ. He also was an avid long distance runner, running ten marathons. Family and friends will be received on Friday, from 2-5 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted Friday at 5:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Whitehall Church of Christ. Condolences may be left at:
