On Friday, November 3, 2006, Rev. Brent J. Dugan, age 60, of Ben Avon. Beloved son of Joyce Lawson (Dugan) Decker of Edinboro, PA and the late Joseph P. Dugan; beloved brother of Brenda Petrick Dugan of Cambridge Springs, PA; also survived by nephews, Brent Petrick & his wife Julie of Cambridge Springs and Chad Petrick & his wife Christina of Parrish, FL; niece, Natalie Petrick & her fiance Eddie Miller of Edinboro; grand niece Ciara Petrick of Cambridge Springs and grand nephew Brayden Miller Petrick of Edinboro; and by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Rev. Dugan had been Pastor of the Community Presbyterian Church of Ben Avon for the past 18 years and as active member of the Pittsburgh Presbytery. He had previously served the First Presbyterian Church in Fairmont, WV. He was a graduate of Edinboro College, the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and Duquesne University. In addition to his many other community activities, he was a founder of the Community Theatre Players. His avocations included fishing with friends at the Pine Lakes Trout Club and sailing. Visitations at the Community Presbyterian Church of Ben Avon, 7501 Church Ave., Ben Avon (Pgh., PA 15202) on Wednesday 4-8 pm and Thursday 11 am until the time of his Funeral Service held there at 1 pm.
