JAMES T.
Age 84, a resident of the "Worthington at Adams" Home in Cranberry Twp. on November 17, 2004. Born Aug. 16, 1920 in Brockway, PA the son of the late Patsy and Elvira Caruso Scarnati; husband of the late Mildred K. Kordyl; father of James Scarnati of Cranberry Twp., PA; brother of Mary Scarnati of Brockway, PA, and Laura Grindel of Butler, PA, and the late Francis (his twin), William, Orlando, Alfred, Anna Scarnati, Angelina Castiglione, and Edith Buryk; three grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas and Joelle. He was a WW II and Korean Conflict Veteran. Visitation Fri. 2-4 & 7-9 pm at CARLSON-SHUGARTS FUNERAL HOME INC., 1033 4th Ave., Brockway, PA. Mass of Christian Burial on Sat., 9:15 am in St. Tobias in Brockway, Msgr. Charles Kaza officiating. Vigil Service 8:45 pm Friday. Memorials to St. Tobias Church, 1100 Hewett St., Brockway, PA 15824.

I'm very sorry to hear about Jim's passing. I worked with Jim in finance and as a fellow VBC in the 1970's. I'll always remember Jim as helpful, funny and one with a strong handshake. We still quote some of the Bruddah's stories to this day. Also, to Jim, the veteran was first. Don Prevost

Sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I was a friend and fellow worker at the VA Office in Pittsburgh. There isn't a day that goes by here that we don't tell a story about working with "The Bruddah". He'll is missed.
