Age 20, died tragically May 31st, 2007. Beloved son of Danny and Kelly Moy; beloved brother of Kana, Brandy and Kana's girlfriend, Tiffany Dworek; proud proud uncle of Aliya Lynn Moy; beloved grandson of Que and Bo Moy, Carol Michael & Don McFarland; beloved great-grandson of Anna (Schwarzbach/Cipa) Bach; nephew of Dr. Peter & Irene Moy, the late Dr. George Moy, Dr. Betsy Moy, Steven and Linda Moy, Patrick Austin, Shannon & Erek Gonzalez, Paul & Joanne Cipa, Gary & Sue Cipa, and Jerry McFarland; great great nephew of Dorothy Schwarzbach; treasured cousin of Stephanie & Steven Moy, Janine & Geoffrey Moy, Brandon and Dylan Emeigh, Ireland Gonzalez, Gavin Ross, Christian & Jared McFarland, Shawn, Joanne, Laura and Justin Cipa, Emily and Zac Cipa; also loved by his girlfriend, Sarah McFetridge. Cody was a 2005 grad of Gateway High School and also attended Serra Catholic High School. Cody's LOVE FOR LIFE WAS UNSURPASSED! He enjoyed hockey, golf, grappling, baseball, skiing, swimming, snowboarding, weightlifting, fishing, motorcycles, and hanging out with his family and friends. He was a member of Gateway & Serra Catholic Hockey Teams, Penn Hills and Murrysville Dek Hockey All Star Teams, Monroeville Baseball All Star Team, Foxwood-Eastgate Swim Team, Club 4 Life, Gateway Ski Club, and voted "Most Popular" Gateway Class of 2005. He worked at Moy's Cove Restaurant, D'Imperio's Restaurant, and most recently at Men's Warehouse in Monroeville Mall. He attended Classes full time at Community College where he had an interest in pursuing business or a career with the State Police. Cody will be forever missed by all who knew him. However, "Codeman" loved, loved to make people laugh, and would not want sadness and tears. He would want everyone, to live everyday like its your last and enjoy every moment of life....because sometimes "Life's Too Short". Friends will be received Sunday and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) corner of Beatty Rd. and 48 North, Monroeville (412-856-4747). A Blessing Service will be held Tuesday, 11 am at North American Martyrs Parish. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cody Moy Memorial Hockey Scholarship Fund, c/o PNC Bank, Attn: Branch Manager, 32 Miracle Mile Shopping Center, Monroeville, PA 15146.
