snow falls on pittsburgh and the lights all go out all the music suddenly stops now there isn't a single sound we are no longer rushing around we stop to smell the air take a breath and close our eyes for a moment if we dare she pulls us in and wraps us in her chill she holds us close and now we can be still we're okay here we'll stay here for a little longer we embrace this common ground all a little lost somehow it fits- SHE HOLDS PART OF ALL OF US FOREVER AND CONTENT. no matter how many times I leave i always hear her voice calling me i could be a million miles away, but its here, I'll always have a place <3you

Dear Candice There's not a day that goes by that i don't think of you. The truth is you're on my mind daily. I have been thinking of you more often lately- I visited you on your birthday! It was so lovely being near you, i sent you a message- I am sure you smiled when you got it, and hopefully laughed. I swear your laugh was contagious- the best. I miss you everyday, and as the time goes on it grow deeper and deeper, I pray to you and know you hear me through things that happen throughout my day- You have made such a difference in everyone person's life you have met- A part of you still lives through me. I miss you Ceec.... and can not wait to see you and give you the biggest hug! I Love you Candice!<3

Dear Bobbie,Carly and Caitlin,
It is now 2009 and I still cannot believe she is gone. I can only imagine the pain that you all are still feeling. Evberyday when i pass your street on my way to wherever going about my life I turn off the radio and say a pray for you and your family. I still carry her picture in my car and often talk to her. Her smile and great personality has touched so many people. May almighty God give you all the strength to overcome such a great loss. I think of her all the time and pray for all of you .

Candice, here it is a month later and I still feel the pain of losing you. This isn’t really the end, we buried only a body. Your soul will live forever. I feel you in every breath of air. You were just too young to die; you barely lived your life. You had a special way about you - what you did was neither right or wrong - it was just you. I hope you know how much I love you and miss you, and I hope you watch me down here from up there - my angel in heaven. Love you.

Although I myself did not know Candice well, she came in where I worked a few times, at Ruthfred Market. She was always so happy and full of life, and even though she didn't know me that well, she was quite friendly and uplifting. She also used to work at my other job, Outback Steakhouse. I know a few people there that have said she was one of the nicest people ever, and I only wish I could have gotten to know her. Her picture still hangs in the office to this very day. I want to send condolences to her family and friends in this very difficult time, with the holiday season in full swing. May God Bless You with His words of comfort, joy and love. Candice is another one of our beautiful angels guided safely into Heaven. May her smile grace all of Heaven's clouds.

You were the most amazing person..beautiful inside and out! Smart, caring, kind, responsible and passionate in everything you did. May your love for life shine through all those who were lucky enough to love you! I am one of the fortunate one's.
I love You...how much?...too much!!
Always.

They say if you love somebody than you have got to set them free,
But I would rather be locked to you than live in this pain and misery.
They say time will make all this go away,
But it's time that has taken my tomorrows and turned them into yesterdays.
And once again that rising sun is droppin' on down
And once again, you my friend, are nowhere to be found.

It is a tragedy to lose someone so special. The laughs and conversations we shared, although too few, are going to be hard to forget now. Candice will be missed severely in the last few weeks of our speech class, and I know the things she shared with us will stick with us for a very long time.
My thoughts go out to the Killinger family for their horrible and untimely loss.

Candice,
Day after day I miss you,
A thousand times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you,
you never would have died.
A heart of gold stopped beating,
two twinkling eyes closed to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove he only took the best.
Never a day goes by that you’re not in my heart and my soul.
I love you, Cheech!

Dear Killingers,
I am so deeply sorry to hear about Candice. I graduated with her, and although she and I didn't know each other very well, the few times that we did talk made such an impact on me. She was such a kind, funny, and beautiful girl. She was a genuinely good person, and anyone could tell by the first time they talked to her. I can't imagine the grief you all are going through, but just know that although we lost her on earth, heaven gained an angel.
My sympathies to you all.

Candice’s Family,
I am deeply saddened and heartbroken over the death of Candice and I want you to know that she is always in my thoughts and prayers. I met Candice two years ago and was immediately drawn to her wonderful personality and kindness. She always showed that big white smile and her beautiful personality shined upon everyone she met. I am glad I got to meet her and was exposed to such a wonderful person. I know she is somewhere special right now still shining her light over us.
November 22, 2007
I met Candice only recently, once, and briefly, but I went home raving to my friends about what a sweet and friendly person I'd talked to that night. She left such a warm impression and I can only imagine the memories you must have of her. May you find comfort in those memories and knowing that she was a joy to everyone around her, even mere acquaintances.

To Candice's family,
I just found out today about Candice's untimely death. I am so sad...for all of you who mourn her. I knew her from Panda Gargen where she was a waitress. We went there every Sunday after church and got to know her. What a beautiful child she is...our hearts and prayers go out to you at this sad time, I can't imagine what a loss this is for you to lose a beautiful soul like her. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and we pray that God will comfort you and bring you peace. I am so sorry for your loss, she was a beautiful girl.

Dear Ceec,
Today, Thanksgiving Day, I am trying to tell myself that I am so very thankful for being able to love you and be loved by you for 19 years. And I am, however, the selfish side of me is so mad that God took you from us all and I would do anything to bring you back here.
The sun shined yesterday, and we knew you were happy. Please continue to shine, especially for your Mom, Carly and Cait. They need you to give them strength to get through this. We are all here for them, but it is the beautiful memories of you that will help the most.
I love you, as I do Nikki and all of my nieces, and am so thankful for you all.

To the Killnger/Rosa families: Candice was an angel here on Earth, and I am certain she remains an angel in heaven. Candice was in my 10th grade honors world history class. Though I'm not sure world history was her favorite thing in the world at the time, she made quite an impression on me with her smile, her laugh, and her great sense of humor. She also helped me through a very difficult time with some amazing words of comfort, far beyond those of an average teenager...obviously, she wasn't average. Please take comfort in knowing how many people she touched in her too short time here. I'm glad I had the privilege of knowing her. I'm sure she's making the other angels laugh right now.

Dear Killinger Family,
I was Candice's 7th grade Spanish teacher at IMS, and she was known as "Celia" to me. Even though years have gone by, I still enjoy thinking about what an earnest, cheerful young lady she was in class - providing positive interactions with me and the other students - so that my memories of her are nothing but good ones. Please accept my deepest feelings of condolence at the loss of your beautiful, sweet Candice. May God embrace you all and support you through these difficult days. Be assured that in her 19 short years, Candice impacted many with her winning ways, and she will be dearly missed. You are in my prayers. Valerie Gail Edmonds
