Baker, Bobby*  
James R. "Bobby" Baker, 71, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Turtle & Crane Assisted Living Center in Idaho Falls. Bobby was born Sept. 24, 1943, in Martinsburg, W.Va., to James B. and Helen Naomi Morrison Baker. He grew up and spent most of his life in Pennsylvania. However, Bobby spent the last 30 years of his life here in Idaho Falls. Bobby was a very special person in all of our lives and he was loved by all who knew him. Bobby was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a an active member of the Scouting program and participated in the special Primary for many years. He is survived by his sister, Kathryn Landon of Idaho Falls; two brothers, Gary Baker of Keedysville, Md., and Doug Baker of American Fork, Utah; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother-in-law, Max J. Landon; and his niece, Dawn M. Kennedy Arb. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 W. Ball, Ronald James  
Ronald James "J.R." Ball Jr., of Monteview, died Thursday March 26, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, April 3, at Terreton LDS Stake Center. The family will visit with friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Friday, both at the stake center. Interment will be in Lewisville Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.

Ballard, Ruth Marie Hendrickson Barton*  
Ruth Marie Hendrickson Barton Ballard, 92, of Idaho Falls, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015, at home of natural causes. Ruth was born July 31, 1922, in Hagerman, Idaho, to John Jefferson Hendrickson and Hattie Elizabeth Schultz Hendrickson. She grew up and attended schools in Felt, Idaho, and graduated from Teton High School. On July 17, 1941, she married Chester W. Barton in Blackfoot. To this union were born three daughters, Juanita, Marilyn and Diana. Chester passed away Sept. 27, 1966. On Sept. 11, 1968, she married Virgil Ballard. Ruth and Virgil made their home in Idaho Falls, where Ruth worked as a homemaker. Virgil passed away Sept. 19, 1990. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ruth is survived by daughters, Juanita (LeRoy) Weston of Idaho Falls, Marilyn (Zane) Larson of St. Anthony and Diana (Bryon) Egbert of Tetonia; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, John Jefferson Hendrickson; mother, Hattie Elizabeth Hendrickson; husbands, Chester W. Barton and Virgil Ballard; brothers, Paul, Calvin and Merlin J. Hendrickson; and sister, Rada Villarreal. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 30, at Driggs Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Ave. Burial will be in Driggs Cemetery. Cook, Peggy*  
Peggy Jo Nulph Cook, 51, of Shelley, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 25, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She fought a valiant, intense struggle against ovarian cancer. Peggy was born Jan. 29, 1964, in Idaho Falls to Forrest Hyrum Nulph and Bonnie Jean DeLaMare Nulph. Peggy was the sixth child of seven children and spent most of her life in Shelley. Upon graduation from Shelley High School, she attended Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho) and Vogue Beauty College. She graduated from Vogue as a cosmetologist with an instructor's license and worked as a part-time instructor for the last 31 years. Peggy married Bruce Ronald Cook on June 1, 1985, in the Idaho Falls Temple. They made their home in the Shelley area for the next thirty years where they raised two fine sons, Ryan Bruce and Joshua Forrest. She was extremely devoted to her husband and her two sons and later to her daughter-in-law and grandson. Peggy was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She had a special affinity of making young people feel loved and accepted. She had a firm and steadfast testimony of Jesus Christ and his teachings. Peggy spent many years working with young people both at work and in her community. Throughout her life she served in the Young Women's program as president, counselor and advisor. She was a primary teacher, counselor and Cub Scout leader. She served as a ward missionary and Bishop's wife. She served on the Shelley Education Board of Directors. At the time of her passing, Peggy was serving as an advisor to young adults in the Shelley South Stake young singles adult branch. Peggy loved going to the family cabin in Island Park, sharing the property with family, friends and those in need. She loved to water ski, swim, garden and ride motorcycles and snowmobiles. She loved to watch her sons play sports and watch football and basketball games. Holidays were like magic around Peggy's home. She loved to make the holidays special for her family and visitors. Peggy is survived by her devoted husband, Bruce Ronald Cook, of Shelley; children, Ryan (Angie) Cook and Joshua Cook, both of Idaho Falls; siblings Claudia (Nolan) Clayson, and Max (Sandra) Nulph, both of Firth, Shirley (Byard) Cox and Lynn Nulph, both of Iona, and Todd (Janet) Nulph of Shelley; one grandchild, Aiden Ryan Cook, of Idaho Falls. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Alan Wilford Nulph. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, at Shelley Idaho South Stake Center, 675 S. Milton Ave. The family will meet with friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 W. Oak St. in Shelley and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. Wednesday at the church prior to services. Burial will be in Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery. Danielson, Roy*  
Ralph LeRoy "Roy" Danielson, 88, of Ammon, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at The Gables of Ammon. He was under the care of Encompass Hospice. Roy was born April 21, 1926, in Garfield, Idaho, to Daniel Enoch and Emma Elizabeth Jeffs Danielson. He grew up in Garfield and Rigby. He graduated from Rigby in the ninth grade. He received his high school diploma in 2005 from Idaho Falls High School when he was 78 years old. He served in World War II and Korean War for the United States Army. He received the Good Conduct Medal. On Aug. 29, 1947, in Rigby, he married Marcella Dorothy Wille. They were married for 68 years and had 10 children. Roy lived in: Garfield; New Sweden, Idaho; Idaho Falls; Phenix City, Ala.; and Ririe. He worked in the sheep camp, was a farm hand, for Snake River Irrigation, McCluskey Ford and Pacific Container. He was a Catholic and an active member of the St. Patrick's Chruch in Phenix City. He helped feed the community. Along with getting in trouble with the boys, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, cutting wood and fixing stuff. Roy had great integrity and was creative. He was the most patient, kind-hearted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather and friend that anyone could ever have, funny and loveable. He is survived by his wife, Marcella Danielson of Ammon; sons, Frank (Skitch) Danielson of Smith, Ala., Jimmy (Marylyn) Danielson of Shelley, Ricky (Maria) Danielson of Idaho Falls, John Danielson of Idaho Falls and Kevin (Barbara) Danielson of Edna, Kan.; daughters, Diana Hollist of Idaho Falls, Linda (Marion) Sauer of Idaho Falls and JoAnn (Dan) Croft of Blackfoot; 22 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his two daughters, Dorothy and Rosemary, his parents, six sisters and four brothers. Military rites will be performed at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery, 600 S. Yellowstone Highway. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.coltrinmortuary.com .
