Adam Ruben Harris, 33, of Rigby, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
He was born Oct. 25, 1979, in Denver to Bradley Frank Harris and Jonie Mae Robinson Queen Harris. He was raised and attended schools in Teton Valley, graduating from Teton Valley High School. He was active in sports and was on the swim team and wrestling team. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Hawaii.
Adam enjoyed sports and spending time with his family, especially with his fiancee, Darlyn, his son, Casey, and his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his parents, Joni and Henry McCracken of Tetonia, Idaho; fiancee, Darlyn Rose Fox, and son, Casey James Lynn Harris, both of Rigby; brothers, Heath McCracken and Daniel Harris of Tetonia, Graham McCracken of Chehalis, Wash., and Dylan McCrackin of Tetonia; and grandparents, Frank "John" and Debbie Robinson of Ecuador.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Shirley Robison, Ursula McCracken and Betty Jo Harris; grandfathers, Henry McCracken and Ruben Harris; and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 15, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main St. in Rigby. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday prior to services, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hayden Cemetery in Tetonia. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
