Cheryl Ann Johnson Hayes, 56, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center after an accident.
Cheryl was born in Butte, Mont., to Leland Johnson and MaryLou Sawyer Johnson.
She attended school in Shelley, Idaho.
Cheryl married Edward L. Hayes on Dec. 1, 2000, in Idaho Falls. She worked as a cook for Captain's Cove.
Cheryl was a Christian. She was a member of the Eagles and associated with the Eagles Riders. She loved to cook and barbeque, host parties and play pool. She loved the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Cheryl is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Edward Hayes of Idaho Falls; son, Davin (Suzy) Johnson of Roy, Utah; daughters, Amanda (Steve) Wright and Kayla (Jeremiah) Fellows, both of Idaho Falls, and Ashley (Bryan) Hill of Fort Riley, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; brother, David (Marilynn) Johnson of Livermore, Calif.; and sisters, Linda Firkins and Leann Nygard, both of Idaho Falls, and Terry Wilde of Shelley.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will meet with friends from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 9, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. in Idaho Falls. Burial will be at noon Thursday in Taylor Cemetery.
