Cyndi Marie Karford, 44, of Idaho Falls, passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at her home in Idaho Falls of natural causes. She would have been 45 years old Friday.
Cyndi was born in Chicago on Nov. 16, 1967.
Cyndi has been an RN for 23 years. She loved working with the elderly more than anything; as she would say, they have so many lovely stories. Cyndi had worked at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, and several times when Cyndi was a patient due to complicated issues, the other nurses on her floor would come and pull her out of bed to help them with another patient's IV because she was good at finding a vein that others could not.
Cyndi was the director of the Home Health office in Idaho Falls for two years until closing due to changing health care regulations. Shortly after her job ended at Home Health, Cyndi started working for the Behavioral Health Center in Blackfoot, where she worked until a work-related shoulder injury in 2009.
Survivors include her three children, Brandasia Karford, Ammon Karford and Sierrain Karford, all of Idaho Falls; and her parents, Lonnie and Judy Sellers of Idaho Falls.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Willow Creek LDS Ward Chapel, 6925 N. 15th East in Idaho Falls, with Bishop Kurt J. Clements officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th St. in Idaho Falls.
