Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Dalene Browning Parker, 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away surrounded by loving family Sunday, April 28, 2013, at her home in Idaho Falls.
Dalene was born April 16, 1938, in Sugar City, Idaho, to Cleo and Norma Browning. She grew up and went to school, graduating from Sugar-Salem. She had a great love for animals and music and loved the piano.
She married Donald B. Parker in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on July 23, 1958, and had seven children.
Dalene was always active in the church, holding many callings and serving numerous missions with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Don of Idaho Falls; children, Brent of Danville, Ky., Alecia (Kevin) Greer of Perry, Utah, Joanne (Bruce) Bean of Price, Utah, Norese (Mike) Loveland of St. Anthony, Leslee (Cody) Christiansen of Rigby, Scott (Megan) Parker of St. Anthony and Alan Parker of Idaho Falls; brothers, Larry (Jiana) Browning of Orem, Utah, and Rex (Linda) Browning of Pocatello; sister, ViEtta (Steve) Smith of Mesa, Ariz.; sister-in-law, Diane Browning of Orem, Utah; 19 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a stillborn brother, Dexter Scott Browning.
Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, May 8, in the Wilford LDS Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Idaho Falls 4th Ward LDS Chapel, 955 Memorial Drive, and again from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Wilford LDS Chapel, 215 N. 2400 East. Interment will be in Wilford Cemetery under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
