Justin Arthur Martin, 40, of Idaho Falls, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at his home.
Justin was born Feb. 20, 1973, in Idaho Falls to Leonard Jay and Christine Marie Chandler Martin. He grew up in Grant, Idaho, until he was 4 and then moved to Idaho Falls. He attended Bonneville and Idaho Falls high schools and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1993.
He worked at the Development Workshop Inc.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served an LDS church service mission at Deseret Industries in Idaho Falls from January 2002 to 2003. He also served as a home teacher and instructor in the Elders Quorum. He attended special needs adult Primary, special needs Scouts and attended Special Needs Institute classes.
Justin enjoyed spending time with his family, listening and singing to music, camping, playing games, taking trips, being around people and telling stories. Justin was so loving and accepting of others. He loved with his whole being. Others would gravitate to him.
He is survived by his father, Leonard Martin of Idaho Falls; brothers, Brian (Kimberly) Martin, Aaron (Tammy) Martin and Kimball Martin, all of Idaho Falls; sister, Sarah Martin of Idaho Falls; grandparents, Art and Elna Hammon Chandler of Idaho Falls; six nieces; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Marie Chandler; brothers, Jonathan Martin and Jordan Martin; grandfather, Leonard Martin; and grandmother, Elsie Thornock.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Idaho Falls LDS 13th Ward Chapel, 1200 Dunbar Drive in Idaho Falls, with Bishop Ken Wright officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. in Idaho Falls, and Saturday for one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will follow in Grant Central Cemetery in Grant, Idaho.
